Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) has announced HEAL : Humanity, Earth and Life — as the theme for its main 2026 program. The carnival will take place July 24–26, 2026 at Central Park Jember, East Java, Indonesia, and includes a series of lead-up events and new spectator experiences designed to convey messages of environmental and social recovery through costume art, music, and street performance.
This year’s storytelling centers on healing the relationship between humans and nature. The parade is organized into eight thematic defile (including “Gaia” and “Sanctuary”) that together portray a journey of ecological reconstruction and collective hope. Audiences can expect a more immersive show experience, with modern stage concepts and integrated visual technologies. Designers blend traditional handmade craftsmanship with mechanical elements and stage innovation to create costumes that not only dazzle visually but also move and tell stories.
